With a focus on initiatives and projects related to 21st-century teaching and learning, Ricardo Rivera provides guidance and expertise on innovative best practices to schools, non-profits, and companies. Since 2010, Ricardo has worked with leading organizations on a variety of projects related to strategic planning, marketing, and professional learning.

COACHING

Coaching engagements are effective ways for bringing about sustained change in school or district. Ricardo enjoys working with schools either on a long or short term basis to support initiatives and has served as an innovation coach for several school-based projects at both elementary and secondary levels. In one engagement, Ricardo coached a public elementary school in Chicago through the process of rolling out a PBIS Digital Resource Program. He also worked with teachers at a Chicago Public School in developing their first Behavioral Health Team . Additionally, he has coached school staff in developing referral, assessment and progress monitoring systems to coordinate Tier 2 & 3 behavioral health and SEL supports (e.g. Behavioral Health Teams).

PRESENTING

Ricardo conducts customized presentations and workshops at schools on relevant education topics ranging from theory to the practical. Ricardo often works other innovative educators in his professional learning network to design customized professional development experiences for teachers.
